Homicidal Recordz
Homicidal Recordz was forged several years ago after Diabolic "The Bloody Fisted Poet" started to peice together his own studio and record with some friends that were influenced by Psychopathic Records and old school gansta rap. The idea of Homicidal was not about taking peoples life but taking the life from their rap game with the lyrical shot, "the lyrical terrorists". The original acts such as Terrorized Mindz, 2 To The Head, and GUNN began recording under the name Homicidal. Hydro Tha Honkey was recording as a solo artist and with THC as the East Side Ridaz. Hydro was encouraged by a mutual influence to hook up with Diabolic and the early Homicidal Camp artists around 2002. THC went on to record with his group Surreel which still are connected with Homicidal as featured artists and V.E.N.O.M. collaborators. Althought each of them had recorded as solo artists, Hydro & Diabolic hit it off as a duo and quickly recorded their first album "Double 45'z" in late 2002 and began to do local shows in Toledo, Akron and Columbus, OH. Hydro & Diabolic have opened for several national artists, Esham, Zug Island, and Bone Crusher. They completed the second album in early 2005 "Targets Of Society" that has been doing well in local sales at independent record stores. This album also showcases the talents of other past and present Homicidal artists Nino Graye, Mark Baker, T-Manson, and Four19 (Jinx & Slit). They have sold several mixtape complilations at shows and on the street. You all need to be on the look out for the new Homicidal mixtape "Toledo Underground Vol 1", Nino Graye solo album, V.E.N.O.M., and other albums that feature Hydro & Diabolic. V.E.N.O.M. will be a refreshing sound, concept, and vision from your average hip-hop/rap album filled with social satire, government corruption, and the poison of the independent underground artists of Homicidal Recordz and Venomous Productions. They will also be featured with collaborations on a mixtape by P-DUBB of PAW Print Productions/Venomous Productions tenatively titled "The Caucasion Persausion Vol. 1". An official website for Homicidal Recordz and Hydro & Diabolic should be operational by fall 2005.
