I love video games. I love video game music. I also love 8-bit sounds. I love industrial, breakbeat, drum n bass... any music, basically, that sounds cool, be it country or whatever. I also like to be creative, and mix stuff together that, some may argue, should never be mixed. Retroactive future tunes? Chiptunes and the like blend very well with a serving of pixel art and retromodern gaming. Try it sometime!
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I've always liked electronica and I got my hands on FL Studio back in like, 2003. Since then I've been fiddling with it, learning it more and more. Now I've discovered the wonderful world of chiptunes, that is, the using of classic/retro/old bleeping sounds from NESs and Game Boys for modern artistic expression. I'm going to try to get my hands on an old Game Boy and a copy of Nanoloop or LittleSoundDJ so I can make authentic chiptunes, as opposed to usuing VST instruments...
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I don't play live, although I'd like to figure out how. I do play guitar, however...
Your musical influences
Any of the 8bitpeoples (Bit Shifter, Nullsleep, etc), Disastertron, Daddys Dead Records, not to mention heavy metal like In Flames and Dream Theater, and industrial such as :wumpscut: and Front Line Assembly... oh, yeah, Junkie XL, NIN, Prodigy, etc... Boom Boom Satellites... everything inspires me to make music.
What equipment do you use?
My computer and my brain.
Anything else?
Ranch and ketchup mixed together kick serious ass with french fries.
