Hollow Heart
Hailing from the blazing Southwest Desert (Phoenix, AZ) comes one of the most gifted lyricists of the new millennium. Formerly of the group Surround Sound Assylum, Hollow Heart (aka Blaxx Blazin) makes his stellar emergence as a solo artist with tracks and lyrics hotter than Phoenix in July. With trunk-rattling beats provided by Sonic Boom Productions Hit-Man Billy Shakes, Hollow Heart creates a style that is unique, creative, and definitely banging! Displaying skills that have been blowing up the Southwest underground, the Hollow Man is now poised to gain national exposure.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
- Started rapping at age 13 and linked up with my man Seazon and formed the group Surround Sound Assylum in 96.
- We released an album "Espionage" in '98.
- I was featured on 6 tracks on the 2000 release of "Seazon Presents...".
- In 2001 my man Seazon moved to Atlanta to pursue producting other professional interests and I became solo.
- I released my first of many solo albums "Dip-N-Slide" in December of 2002.
- I am currently in the studio working on my next album, "The Great Seal", which is scheduled for release in late 2003.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I love rockin' shows in AZ! We have a lot of talent out here in the Blazin' Southwest and we are ready to represent! Big Up to U of A, ASU, and NAU for always staying down with Hollow!
