HolloH
HolloH
Holloh was together from 1994-2003 playing primarily in the Puget Sound Region of Washington state. Originally developed from the band Bride Wore Black consisting of Gannon, Jason, Dave, Ken & Lonnie. They had worked & recorded with Lisa on a few songs & created a side band - Tempest (pre-HolloH name 1994-95 era). As Bride Wore Black continued on their own music, Lisa decided to find her own band & started recruiting.
Wes McCollaum & Rick Knox - both of Before Christ - came into the picture. Shortly after Bride Wore Black disbanded & Lonnie & Jeff Wonsor were incorporated forming the new Tempest. Wes left shortly after for personal reasons. Gannon came back to reclaim the throne (drummers of course) - the new lineup was Lisa, Lonnie, Rick, Jeff & Gannon. Tempest started out with a softer, folk rock type sound, the music eventually started to progress into a heavier style - in 2000, we decided to change the name to HolloH. Our final lineup Lisa Vocals, Lonnie Guitar/vocals, Rick Guitar, Gannon Drums/vocals, Jake Getty on bass. We played the Puget Sound area from 1996-2003 when we finally disbanded. Unfortunately this came in the middle of the last album that we were recording. 4 songs were finished so we decided to release it as a 4 song ep with the new releases only, it was originally going to have 9 songs total with 4 new releases & 4 re-releases of songs that had been re-written & 1 song with a new direction that we wanted to pursue. I have made the songs available to listen to in order from oldest (bottom) to newest (top) - hope you enjoy.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We did play the Puget Sound area. We loved it! Many memorable times.
