Anthony Smith is the lead DJ in Kansas City for clubs and concerts. His home club was Bodywork's Phase II. Some of his experience includes radio commercials for local clubs such as VI, Candy and Bodywork's Phase II. He has also been the host of a long list of stage concerts. He is professional and excels in his work. He has grown from an artist to a media vehicle. One of his creations, Kansas City's first Urban TV Show has been highly viewed as BET or MTV ready. He has been filming for about 16 weeks now. In his show he will be interviewing national and local acts following it with music videos and the Midwest way of life. Anthony Smith (a.k.a.) Hobo Tone Over the past 15 years Anthony Smith (a.k.a.) Hobo Tone has been hard at work producing and rapping for audiences and artists throughout the Midwest. He has collaborated with artists such as Lil Flip,and Techn9ne and hes opened for Ludacris, Lil Flip, Mya, Mystical, Eightball, Techn9ne, the late Biggie Smalls and KRS one to name a few. However, after touring with Techn9ne on the Absolute Power Tour, Hobo gained an even larger fan base and had an opportunity to deliver his message to thousands of fans throughout the country. Hobo is currently in the studio working on his next CD. However, Kansas Citys premiere producer and rapper has found his voice in the industry and hes nearing the top of his game. Smith is taking his music to another level by kicking out tracks for an upcoming independent film Halfway Home written by Vin Morreale of VSM Productions. After placing two of his beats on Breaking and Entering, a romantic comedy that was also written and directed by Morreale he was asked to contribute to his next project. Hobo Tone is on the move, look for his new CD on Chocolate Boi Entertainment which is set to drop in 2005. I was the lead DJ at Two hot spots in Kansas City so I control what the kids listen to in the clubs and I'm responsible for help breaking records in my town. I play for about 1500 people a weekend. I'm also on the radio (KPRS Hot 103 FM) every week doing drops and commercials for other clubs and companies.
