Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
HitMan Legacy Productions/Hoodfella Inc. was started by two cousins, Michael "Spydaman" Williams 17, and Romell "Mello Starr" Williams, 25 respective. The family is intent on developing a new Chicago sound and is hellbent on creating "the perfect sound" to keep Chicago juking for years to come.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Nah, not yet. Just sort of cutting our teeth in the game.
Your musical influences
Jay-Z, Stevie Wonder, Al Green, Marvin Gaye, Timbaland, Patti LaBelle, Scarface, Snoop Dogg, Twista, and Kayne West. We also look up to all the great Chicago artist doing their thing like: Donell Jones, R.Kelly, Selena Johnson, Do or Die, Psychodrama, Crucial Conflict, Bump J, Dude and Them, etc.
What equipment do you use?
The computer, keyboard, and a simple drum machine.
