HIGHWAY 58 EXPRESS COUNTRY BAND
HANK RENO and HIGHWAY 58 EXPRESS COUNTRY BAND is primarily a cover/dance band working the lodge ciruit (Eagles, Moose, etc.)Our repetoire includes classic country, contemporary country and some classic rock.
A project, just beginning, is under way on a home recording project featuring the original music of lead guitarist Lee Richards. As the project progresses the music will be uploaded to SoundClick.
The song that is currently posted is a Lee Richards original (copywrite 1999) and is performed by LEE RICHARDS BAND now defunct but it is a sample of his writing and arrangment talents.

Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Hank Reno has been in the music business, locally, for about 20 years. Although the name of the band has changed several times for various reasons, we still play much the same music as always, adding new songs as well as new renditions of old songs.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes, we play the Eagles, Moose, etc. lodge circuit throughout Oregon. For the most part the venues are receptive and responsive to our music. One of the highlights of our career was opening for Juice Newton on July 14, 2001 in Coburg, OR.
Your musical influences
Everyone from Hank Williams Sr. to Josh Turner and Jerry Lee Lewis to Deep Purple (in the rock mode) way too many people to mention have influenced my tastes and style.
What equipment do you use?
All Fender guitars & amps, mostly Boss stomp box effects, Shure wireless both on guitar and mic. Recording gear is Fostex and computer.
Anything else?
I hope that as we post our new music to the site that we will get some positive feedback so we can determine what we want to do with it in the future as far as marketing the product goes.
