Hey thanks for checking us out! we are Highland Star and we are from around Central Pennsylvania. Three of our members are still in high school so we are a relatively young band. We are influenced by bands like The Early November, Senses Fail(really, anything Drive-Thru),Days Away...so if you like these bands, or are just curious. make sure you keep checking us out for more details or if you like us get in touch!
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Everyone in the band has been in several bands but for the past 6 months we've been in this click and its what works. We've accomplished more than any of our other bands, and we all love it more and are more determined to making something happen.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes we play shows all the time, wherever we can and whenever its possible. its great to just be there playing something you wrote and having people get into it and sing along and appereciate it.
Your musical influences
The Early November, Senses Fail, The Starting Line, Days Away, Hidden In Plain View, as we said before basically anything Drive Thru....we play a mix of emo and rock.
What equipment do you use?
Only the Best miffco has to offer...Fender Guitars and Bass', Marshall Half Stacks, Premier Drums, Sabian Cymbals.
Anything else?
I guess this is where I'll just ask for your help, cuz it's you thats gonna help get us where we want to be.
