Donna Germano on Celtic harp, hammered dulcimer and vocals joins with Susan Kidney on fiddle and guitar to comprise the duo, Highland Fling. This lively combination presents both the interesting rhythms of Scottish dance music and the beautiful airs of Scotland and the surrounding areas. Susan and Donna perform for concerts, festivals, corporate events and a variety of occasions throughout the Southeastern US. As a brand new group, they are working on their first recording.

We are playing in the Western North Carolina and South Carolina areas.
Your musical influences
We love the beautiful ballads of the Scottish fiddlers like Gow and Skinner along with their wild dance tunes! Susan recently attended a master class with Jerry Holland and Ellie Baker. We love Alasdair Fraser, Kim Robertson and many more of the modern day instrumentalists.
