Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I like playing surf music but also venture into old rock, country, Christian, blues, and some bluegrass.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
My live performances occur spontaneously... usually around campfires on camping trips. And, I do get together for jam sessions with friends a couple of times per month.
Your musical influences
Ventures, Dick Dale, Beach Boys, Tom Petty, Eagles, Neil Young, Larry Norman, and Merle Haggard.
What equipment do you use?
I record all my songs on a Zoom PS-02 Palmtop Studio. I use its built in drum machine for the drums and I play bass, rhythm, and lead guitar as well as do the vocals, such as they are. I also throw in some harmonica and bongos when the opportunity arises.
Anything else?
I play a Gibson Les Paul Junior Special electric guitar and a Gibson L-4A acoustic/electric guitar. My camp/travel guitar is an Aria Elecord acoustic/electric. I like Hohner Golden Melody and ProHarp Harmonicas. I use a Fender P-bass for my bass lines.
