Henry Smith
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I was born in Germany and came to the states when i was 9. I was originally a citizen of Ghana in West Africa. the first group i ever heard perform on the radio was BOYS II MEN. I was hooked and dedicated my singing career to their style for ever.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Ive been in compitions. My special moment would have had to been in 2003 when i became Umass Amherst's first Umass idol
Your musical influences
Boys II Men, Maxwell, Michael Jackson, R. Kelly, Dru Hill, Shai, Jodecy, Mary J, Janet Jackson and a few other. Not to forget to mention I love Doo Wop.
What equipment do you use?
I use my mouth for my istruments. I beatbox and i humm my own created melodies. There is no samplin done on my tracks. It may sound weird but just check out my songs. You might be impressed, and if not it's cool, because 2 each their own, Right?

I am strongly considering american idol for next year!
