Hektek a up and coming underground HipHop DJ / Producer from The Bronx, New York. Started to DJ playing music at parties in 1992. 1993 began making beats sampling music, colaberating with talented music artist in NYC forming The Bronxmob. 1996 making the first radio appearence as a guest DJ and host on a local HipHop Radio station in Miami, Florida, Hoodstock Radio. 1997 having the honer to meet and later work with Afrika Bambaataa music pioneer,Godfather of HipHop Culture, and founder of the Universal Zulu Nation. Traveling on promotional DJ tours as a roady, and at times spinning at several clubs during his set in the New York Tri State area as well as the Midwest and South. 1999 getting the first opportunity and experience to play music on tour for large audiences overseas in Europe and the U.K, returning back to Europe Summer of 2000. Spinning records at clubs and festivals internationally thanks to Afrika Bambaataa. 2001 playing music at several clubs around the U.S and also in Montreal, Canada. 2002 starting to produce and record music officially in the studio. 2003 continued to DJ occationally at party events in the NY area, also promoting music on radio stations in South Florida. Producing music for Afrika Bambaataa's latest Album "Dark Matter" out on Tommy Boy Records. Summer of 2004 on tour to DJ in Europe and the U.K as well as recording music in the studio with artists in Berlin, Germany.
