Heavy Peezy

WELCOME, GeT InZPiRED!
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Heavy P (born Jerrod Place) was born & raised in Kansas. From a young age music played a major role in his life. With no real direction in sight, he decided music would be his career path, thus forming the rap name "Tha Rhyme Masta" where he began writing and recording over beats made by then up-and-coming Dmp Productions, he quickly formed a group which consisted of P, Baby Clip, and DMP, they called themselves The Unknown Soldiers. While the Soldiers broke up after only a 2 year run, P continued on his way, becoming a solo artist, and his name changed to Heavy P. It wasn't long until he met Robert "Dewey" Walls III, Owner & Founder of InZpired MindZ Entertainment. Heavy P then began his musical journey relocating to Junction City, KS. He has advanced immensely under the music guidance of both Tone Kapone, & Tal3nt both of which play key roles in InZpired MindZ Entertainment. IME is now one of the premier record labels to explode out of the midwest scene, with acts such as Tone Kapone, Heavy P, KonC3pt, Chi-City, Justin Black & Tal3nt. Heavy P is currently the Vice PreZident of IME, and has completed work on the InZpired MindZ Ent. Presents...Midwest InVasion Vol.1 Mixtape which has been released, With Wyte NoiZe (A combined mixtape effort with fellow IME Artist KonC3pt) already under his belt with rave reviews, he is well on his way in the music game. The r&bish single, "Candelight" feat. KonC3pt, Justin, & Mishala has also reached radio play, As well as "Getcha Game Up" featuring Tone Kapone, so bigger steps continue to be taken within the music game for IME. Heavy P is currenty working on another mixtape with the IME squad as well as his first official solo release!!! So if your interested in purchasing either mixtape send a message and purchase options will be sent back to you. Be sure to continue supporting Heavy P and watch as the Midwest music scene is put on the map!
