HEAVY D (KEVIN MITCHELL) grew up in LOUISVILLE, KY it wasnt until he was 10 years of age before he realized he had talent for the music industry. What inspired him the most was to go to concerts and see others perform such as LIL WAYNE, LIL BOOSIE, B.G., DJ UNK, and many more. This really opened his eyes to see that he could possibly be doing the same thing as well. At the age of twelve he began writing songs he had enough tracks for a cd before people even started hearing about him! At the age of 12 years old he began freestyling when he heard such artists as LIL FILP, LIL ROMEO, CAMILLIONARE, AND LIL WAYNE. BUT HE HAD HIS ON GROUP CALLED KRL BOYZ HE WAS 13TEEN AT THE TIME AND THATS WHEN THE PEOPLE HE WAS HANGIN OUT WITH WAS IN SOME SHIT SO HE WENT ON HIS ON BUT BEFORE ALL OF THAT HAPPIN THEY HAD A SINGLE CALLED "BIG BUCKS IN BIG TRUCKS" THEN HE WENT HIS WAY AND THEY WENT THERE WAY. AND Before HE knew it HE was in the studio recording MY first hit single "CRANK THAT SPONGE BOB" which took a year to finally get it how he wanted IT TO TURN OUT for people to hear. This was his first main stream track that could actually go somewhere that wouldnt have to settle for just a mixtape.At school is where he mostly displayed his RAP skills by freestyleing in the class and in the gym and in lunch lyrics that i never wrote i alwas freestyle the best stuff now his lookin for a record deal now!!! YA BOY IS READY TO BE SIGNED!!!!!!!
