Nas, DJ Premier, and Pete Rock. Me as a producer/MC, I like more soulful type of hip-hop. Sample-based hip hop. sorta Pete Rockish
What equipment do you use?
Akai MPC 2000, PC, Gemini XL-500II, and a whole lotta records.
Anything else?
If I ever get signed, I hope to bring back the real hip hop. Hip hop that doesn't have just 5 minutes of fame, but have classic pieces, like T.R.O.Y., and Illmatic.
