hi. my name is heath mcnease. i'm the rapper next door. the one that your parents love to love. my nickname is verbal essence, but i'm obviously not as clever as i thought, because someone else has the same name. so...call me heath for now...tadah!
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
the band was originally called "brett and the super musical dudes." but, brett (the lead singer) was tragically shot in the face by an arrow from a cross bow. i was 1/3 of the musical dudes (we were the musicians and back up singers). well, the two guys (mercedes and neal) got in a huge fight about who got to be the "hot one" in the group, so mercedes quit. neal is currenly a tibetan monk. so...i just decided i would do rap music without anyone.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
i perform live, and i love it.
Your musical influences
i love the Lord and i love what he's done for me. he's my musical influence. he influences everything i do.
What equipment do you use?
i use a flugal horn whenever i get the chance. some people call me the best flugal hornist alive.
