Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
You Should Really Read all of this. A short Biography of Heatershed, Written By: Ryan Parker of Heatershed. I guess you could say heatershed started back in 2000 under the name Kenny & Me, with the original Duo of Ed and Ryan. That same year they met up with rocker/cuddler Adrian and they all slacked off together. Their musical talent unknown to eachother and themselves, and it remained that way for about 3 years. At the end of 2003 they recorded their first song "This is the Song" with Ed's musically talented cousin craig, it was a song about how unreal everything is and how saying "This is the song" repeatedly did not actually mean it was a song, but it was infact a song. That same night they spawned more revolutionary tracks like "Tribute to ed" and "Herpe Flavored Hot Dog." As Heatershed grew through the Underground community of local Massachusetts highschools, there was a mystery to be revealed about Heatershed. Late 2003 or Early 2004 Ryan's brother who just happened to be a musical genious from the broken up band Atreus stepped in to make a seemingly like a pateaued band rise above their creativity to the next level. Helping them with such songs as "Michael Jackson," "Ger-aff," and "Allegra," the band's new flow of things could only mean a downfall, but Heatershed fucked with everyones head. Next the power trio (sometimes a quartet) progressed they recorded their best songs, "Telephone Poles" and "Jamaican Man." "Telephone Poles" is a song about discrimination and underestimation, and Jamaican Man about gay marriage laws, both of these genius songs made ever demo from that moment on. Now as boredom set in from the band and the cult following was rising and demanding new songs thats when Heatershed caved in to give the fans what they wanted. They soon recorded "Delaware" (about 6 times) never finding a true way to play it and fans were nuts, its catchy ryhthm was great, but the lyrics were all wrong. Panicking they did remade The Cranberries' "Zombie", "Journey" and a 30 second song called "Woods," neither helped Heatershed out of their decline. Out of ideas and out of money (which they were from the beginning) they were close to hitting bottom. They asked Ryan's brother Pat to come help them a second time, and he refused, he'd gone Hollywood on the band. The refusal made new ideas and a new song called "Hollywood, Dammit" as an attack on Patrick. In response to the song, he realized his wrongs and surprised the band by showing up the next night. The band was climbing to a new height as their first album was almost finished. Pat influenced the band into doing songs like "Adrian's Self Loathing Song," the rock version of "Macerena," "The Telephone Anthem," "With a Rock," and surprised the band again by having his friend Bob Dylan sing the song "I'm on Drugs." As this first chapter of heatershed is almost written and the album very close to finished, the band is at the highest peak and the cult following is growing bigger and bigger. UPDATED 3/27 Now as i promised before the cult is growing bigger and bigger we're ordering more Blue Kool-Aid to keep everything good and happy. Next on the agenda of heatershed were small sessions of songs that include songs such as Humpty Dumpty that didn't get the wide love of fans, and the band decides to take a break and tries to fall forward toward their goals to finish the album. The band knew the masterpeice "USA10: Sacrificing Cats a USA10 Level" would take time and they shouldn't force it's creation. After some time off the band, during a jam session recorded 4 new amazing titles "Coming Over Me" "The Zoo" "My Name" and "Love Letter" which marked a new level of intensity marking anger, politics, depression and mexicans very intently and Nearly finishing the album. The band decided they wouldn't try forcing more and took anotehr short break, and when they were supposed to reunite and possibly finish the almost finished album the Heroin addicted Adrian Cronin didn't show up saying that "he didn't know" and spent the day at a childs pornography website. To help realize his stupidity his fellow band member Ryan Parker and Ed Hanscom started a collection of songs now known as the "Adrian didn't Show Up EP" which comemorates 5 songs of Broken Hearts, Anger, Prostitution and Jude Law bringing their power of music closer to where it needs to be to finish the album. Where the band goes next may surprise everyone....... or will it? UPDATES:ahh yes and we hav finished our album, "USA10 sacrificing cats at a USA10 lvl!" and have begun the creation of our upcoming album "spank her til its awkward" once we begin the creation of the album we will begin filming the heatershed docu-drama which is currently untitled... but since ryan hasnt updated thebio thought i'd keep us's posted p.s.: we have 3 new members in out band derek(bass) sean(guitar) and greg(drums) they will b in the docudrama and in the new album, peace out much love -adrian(lead vocals) ps.s no1 loves us anymore... we're goin semi serious, we'll be playin a couple shows soon, next show we do BLister In the sun by the violent femmes is one of the covers we;re doin, that and disarm by the smashing pumkins.
