Harvest is a rock band who has performed popular covers for the last 4 years. Over the past 5 years Harvest has evolved through a series of members to arrive at the current line up consisting of Taos Poole Vocals, Steven Moore Guitars, Luke Anderson Drums/Vocals, Chris Baker Bassist.
Band/artist history
Harvest has gigged steadily throughout the four years and has been well received at venues in places such as their home town of Warwick plus Stanthorpe, Tenterfield, Clifton, Killarney, Beaudesert, Canungra, Boonah, Toowoomba, Goondiwindi, Dalby, Brisbane and Palm Beach. The Booker Rod Tales was recorded with drummer Matt Woodrow who unfortunately left the band in late 2003.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Harvest was formed on the premiss of playing live, its what we do and love. Harvest has played from the coast to mid regional Queensland and as many places in between including a couple over the NSW border. We've had plenty of good times at the expense of motels, hotels and motor inns.
Your musical influences
To describe the accumulated sound of Harvest is easier found in the musicianship of each member. With a Mark Tremonti (Creed) grunt, Steve gives the Morrello (RATM) edge to his Guitar work While Chris' walking bass is reminiscent of the Chili Peppers' Flea. Taos delivers vocals with his "Vedderesque" (Pearl Jam) style voice and the incomparable Luke Anderson stands on his own with his tub thumping skills.
What equipment do you use?
Harvest is armed with a full JBL P.A. System, Marshall Stack and GK amps, Tama rack-mounted drums for crystal clear sound plus lighting rigs, strobes & smoke machine if needed. Guitars: Les Paul,(Floyd Rose)Fender, Silver Star Bass: Monterey Stage Series, Magnum Jazz.
