what drove me to write instrumentals was the lack of melody and the surplus of verbage in today's music...I just got tired of listening to other people's problems set to rhythm...
I'm a drummer by trade, having played in bands beginning at college...but I bought a small casio keyboard and somehow composed 24 songs.. they were then recorded onto an apple computer by playing them live...you can hear my solo efforts on tigerpaths-solo cd..
so now what to do...I decided to contact a studio musician in nashville, jamey whiting, who produced and recorded my songs with a live rock band -- keyboards, guitar, bass, and drums....the result is 2 cd's -- tiger bay and paths of glory.
so here are a couple songs..immortality is cheap...well, maybe not so at that...anyway, it's here forever for free
