Happenstance
Hey everybody, Teig here. I'm the singer (i guess) and guitar player for Happenstance. We're recording our first full length CD soon, If you are a fan of indie rock or just good music in general, keep checking back because we'll be adding full band songs soon.
Right now, we have available some songs of Mark Montaruli (piano) and I running thru some older stuff. The singing is a little off, but the songs were pretty much first run-throughs and half written.
The new songs are equal parts roots-rock and spacey, Coldplay-ish stuff. The songs took a while to craft out and flesh to where they are now, so when you get the finished version, expect some really great stuff. It's not your average College band fare... it isn't a dave matthews sounding project at all, but we're aiming to make a great piece of art, so we hope you enjoy it when its done.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Since we're a very new group, we're currently looking for more shows, although between us, we have performed at venues such as the Mercury Lounge NYC, the Bowery Ballroom NYC, Jones Beach Ampitheater NY, Fairfield University, and as far as Anchorage, Alaska.

U2, John Mayer, Coldplay, Miles Davis, Ryan Adams.
What equipment do you use?
- Martin, Ovation and Carvin acoustic guitars.
- Fender, Gibson and Epiphone electric guitars.
- Assorted effects pedals, mostly used not the way they were intended.
- Fender and Crate amplifiers.
- Yamaha pianos and keyboards.
- Pearl drums and hardware.
