Long ago, in a galaxy far, far away...
...a four year old is forced to begin classical piano lessons. For eleven years thereafter cries of "why are you making me do this?" and "I'm not going to be a piano player!" could be heard across the universe.
But things began to change when that four-year-old turned twelve and found he could teach himself Beatles tunes by ear. He quickly learned guitar (so he could learn more Beatles tunes) and soon began crafting songs of his own.
Fifteen years, five bands, three tours and a degree in music production later, Hanz Erickson finally begins his solo effort. Fans value his thoughtful lyrics and engaging melodies and compare his vocal style to Michael Franks at it's softest and Rufus Wainright at it's most dynamic.
With the recent additions of Ollie Bauer (mmf, Cryptic) slamming skinned cylinders, Stein Malvey (Mighty Crane) strumming strings and singing, and Erik Naslund (After Glow) singing and slapping bass, HanZsolo is ready to be taken!Have you performed in front of an audience?Live in the Midwest.
