Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Halfway to Nothing could be considered many different "genres" of music. Some might say punk and some might say emo. But the members of Halfway to Nothing feel they don't fall into any of these genres. With their dark poetic lyrics, and energetic music, they feel they are much more than just another cliche punk or emo band that the airwaves are laced with these days.
Halfway to Nothing consists of 3 members Adam Hile(guitar,vocals), Luke Gutting(bass, backing vocals) and Brandon Hile(drums). All three come from different musical backgrounds, mix these together and you get the unique sound of Halfway to Nothing, which is one part raw emotion and one part energy.
At a show in their hometown of River Falls, Wisconsin, You will see around 300-400 kids singing along with their songs. At an out of town show, you and a handful of others will for surely become fans.
With 2006 coming, marking the release of their highly anticipated debut CD. The band hopes this will bring them to new levels, and it looks like 2006 will be bringing some big stuff from Halfway to Nothing.
