Born in 1987, Half Life Half Death was the brainchild of aLfie vera mella and his friends who were heavily into the Alternative / New Wave scene of the Philippines.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Played live from 1987 to 2003, in the Philippines during concerts and at clubs.
Your musical influences
We were an amalgamation of the bands which influenced us--mainly The Cure, The Lotus Eaters, The Wild Swans, Echo & the Bunnymen, and other usually British Alternative-New Wave artists.
What equipment do you use?
I am the eLf and was the panmeister, the vocalist, and the mascot.

Just listen to our "Butterflies" and be transcended into our heydays.
