GUT ON ICE
The bandname is GUT, but it was already taken on SC so we had to change it to GUT ON ICE. It is an Icelandic band that was formed by Leo Reynisson and Svenni Bjorgvins in 1990. We are not a formal band today but are working on a bunch of material that came out of jam-sessions for many years. Leo is a vocalist & guitarist and Svenni used to play the bass in the band, but he playes also multiply instruments, guitars, bass and drums. We had many drummers coming and going and it was getting real hard to find someone that would stay with the band for longer periods. We released one CD in Iceland in 2000 but then we desited to call it a quit as a formal band. We have uploaded a song we just finished working on at Svennis studio and this is just the beginning and there are much more songs on the way. We hope youll enjoy our tracks and give us some feedback. Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We use to play live in Iceland at smaller places but since we are not a formal band any longer we only work on our material in a recording studio.
