This site hosts field recordings by the ambient artist Gurdonark. The purpose of this site is to provide recordings of nature sounds and other phenomena for use by all and sundry on a Creative Commons attribution license. If you are seeking recordings of nature sounds to meld into your own musical pieces, or to enliven your website, then this page is a free resource, ready for you to use. The goal of this site is to give you a resource for nature sounds for which you do not have to pay royalties so long as you give proper credit. I started this site because I like to do field recordings, and because I wanted this to be a free resource for all.
