This is an instrumental project celebrating many genres and styles I was influenced growing up in the 70's.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I have been a musician for almost 40 years now! Wow, am I old! Thankfully, many of the artists I grew up listening to are still touring! It's encouraging!
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
No. The best part I loved about playing live was the adrenaline that is exchanged among the band mates when things are going well.
Your musical influences
I always found the soulful Santana inspiring. From there, I was influenced by the likes of Stevie Ray Vaughn, Brian May, and the countless session musicians that created great guitar melodies and rhythms on many of the one-hit wonder bands of the 70's.
What equipment do you use?
For guitars: 1983 Fender Strat with recently added Texas Specials, 1972 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe, and a custom made guitar made by Bil Mitchell guitars. For processing: Line 6's POD xtLive. For recording: Cakewalk Sonar.
