Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
G STEEL's been writing for while, but in the past years got up with John Lo and Matt Lo to form Mastermind Entertainment. We've covered ground in two years most don't see in six, so we're happy with the progress we've made. Mastermind Entertainment along with DJ Cutmaster C's Dirty Money Entertainment released two DVD's (both featuring myself along with a shit load of other cats)called True Stories Volumes 2 and 3. As well as being on Cutmaster C's mixtapes for the past 2 years, we also release "The Time Has Come Mixtape" hosted by Cutmaster C which circulated about 2,000 copies and the mixtape "Cruel Summer" hosted by Big Mike which sold more than 3,500 copies nationwide (thanks to Mixtapekings.com by the way) You can check out all this shit on Mixtapekings.com, if you want. Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Performing always brings up a rush - right there's your opportunity to bring your work to life.
Your musical influences
I was first inspired to write by listening to the late Big L in the early to mid 90's. And I grew as an artist listening to the likes of Jay Z, B.I.G, Scarface and Big Pun.

Pen, paper and a mic.
