Our music is studio based, mostly computer generated, and keyboard/MPC 2000 originated. Rap Alliance Recordings is the brainchild of producer/label owner, Brian Jones.
Your musical influences
with this album produced mainly from a production mindset, many of my musical influeces come into play. A listener of hip hop/rap scince its introduction to the mases, my favorite groups/artists/producers go back as far as Boogie Down Productions, (When Scott La'Rock was still alive), Public Enemy, from the East. West coast influences include Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, and down south Rap legend Scarface and supa tight producer Mike Dean and Scarface. Ultimately, coming from a musically inclined family, I bring my own unique porduction to the stage. This ensures originality and heart-felt genuine good music. Check us out!
What equipment do you use?
I use an MPC 2000. Keyboards include the Yamaha Motif, Korg Triton, Mo-phat sound modules. Mac based sequencing programs include Pro-tools, and Digital Performer, all eminating from Mackie's Digital 8bus mixing console, Neuman mic setup, through Makie powered monitors.
