Greg Rose
Greg Farefield Rose - acoustic-based singer songwriter.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I've been playing on the London acoustic circuit on and off for 10 years. I have also recorded and released my own album Greg Rose in 1996 with friends playing and singing with me on some tracks. I also arranged the music and played guitar and keyboards on the Dead Parrots Society's "St. Cecilia" LP.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes - I play on the acoustic circuit in London. Many special and not so special moments over the years.
Your musical influences
The Beatles, REM, Neil Young, David Bowie and Nick Drake have all influenced my songwriting and guitar playing. I also subconciously started playing the acoustic guitar after watching lots of 70s kids TV - Camberwick Green and Trumpton, Mr Benn and others.
