Gregory A Odeneal
Positive energy, diversity, unique style, and professional approach. these are all elements that make Gregory an upcoming producer with more potential than any. He's an educated force to be heard in the Chicago and Kankakee music scene. His work with local artists Yea Big and Kid Static on their debut, self titled, team-up album revealed a quirky, cinematic mind behind the boards that is just waiting to be let loose on the world.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Born and raised in Kankakee, Illinois, Gregory began teaching himself to play the guitar at the age of 11. After a few years of self education in guitar, he moved to piano, drums, and music theory with only limited outside teaching. Eventually in high school he would go on to play guitar for various local bands and even in the orchestra pit for school plays.
A continued need for music education lead Gregory to follow that love for music into the realm of higher education attending both the University of Illinois and Illinois State, gaining a bachelor's degree in Arts Technology with a focus on music.
Gregory's extensive knowledge of all things music continually feeds his creativity and diverse musical output. plug in your headphones or turn up your speakers, you're definitely going to take a ride.
