Greg Ingold
Just me on acoustic guitar. I gave up on the band concept years ago (there's more flakes playing music than in a bowl of cereal). I play mainly solo fingerstyle guitar. Some day I'd like to be back in a band situation, but it would have to be a near-perfect blend of talent, taste, and personalitites.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I play at local coffee shops and wine bars. I also play live for myself, my wife, and two sons.
Your musical influences
My two main influences are John Renbourn and Leo Kottke. I've also listened to alot of Chicago and Mississippi blues, as well as the Rolling Stones. I've also been known to delve into Medieval and Renaissance music.
What equipment do you use?
My two main guitars are a Martin 000-28EC and a Martin OMC-16E Maple. I plug into a Genz-Benz Shenandoah 100 through an LR Baggs Paracoustic DI.
