greenhand
Independently produced midwestern hip-hop
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
'greenhand' is based out of Moorhead, MN and all vocals, scratching, and production are performed by Kelly & Tyler Mangin.***'greenhand' was originally an unnamed collaboration of co-founders DJ Skip-Resistance and emcee's Kelly & Tyler. The group performed at several self-organized events. DJ Skip-Resistance split from the group in early 2005. ***Late 2004, 'greenhand' met two of the members of MYC (Me-and-You Crew), Kipp Gabriel and Matthew Hennessy at an emcee battle held at the MSUM Underground.--- Since then 'greenhand' and 'MYC' have been winning over fans with the live chemistry of several emcees and DJ Ism. ***Most recently 'MYC'/'greenhand' featured Mazta I (rhymesayers) at a self-promoted event in Fargo and opened for Kanser at a skate park in Bismarck.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
