I make most of my backing tracks out of Guitar Pro files and soundfonts. You can probably find a tutorial on the subject at www.guitars101.com in the backing track section. All of my gear and recording equipment is available on my main page.

Hey, thanks, I've just been doing some 5 string minor and major sweeps to a metronome.

Hey man, thanks for the comments! About sweeping, firstoff, I wouldn't consider myself good or very fast sweeping, some of the sweeps I've recorded are just lucky takes... BUT, that being said, now is probably a good time to familiarize yourself with the technique. If you put some good work an dedication in for about a month, you'll start to see good results, it'll probably surprise you when you realize how far you've come. The main thing is just to start slow AND make sure you're doing them right timing wise. What I mean is you don't want to try playing too fast where ou realize that you play the notes spasticly or in bursts unevenly. Accuracy is key in the timing department. Hope this helps ;-)

Hey man, love your stuff, especially the Bodom covers, you do them justice. Anyways, I've been playing for about a year, and I just recently started looking into sweep picking, after listening to a lot of Friedman and Becker solos. I was just wondering how long it took you to get it down (because progress is coming really slow for me right now), and if you used any certain techniques to help you speed up. Thanks, and keep it heavy \m/.

awesome cover of bed of razors, kinda off tempo but it still rocks good job, a lot of my sh*** is off tempo anyway and it still doesnt matter its just fun to just write stuff and not worry about how much perfection you put into it sometimes

Haha sorry man, I shouldn't have put your ears through that, you see, the recordings at the bottom are from when I had been playing half a year of guitar. The ones without pictures at the bottom are especially bad so just ignore them, there just for me to be able tro see how far I've come. I'd appreciate it you came back and heard a more recent song though :)

Dude, I just listened to Little Wing, and I gotta say....nice work. I love that song, one of my favorites from both Hendrix and SRV... I think with just a little more practice you could seriously do that song justice.
