Gore Goblin

June 2005 - Good news. A Gore Goblin site will soon be on the web, with professinional design. So our fans will be to sky rocket at any time! Update with address as soon as is able. May 2005 - Big News again! Gorbag has rejoined. Great stuff ahead. March 2004 - Big News! Gorbag has leaved the band! He has gone to be pursue a new band entitled "Witch Leavings." His claimed that we are not the True Metal anymore... that we are False Metal because our sound has done to change a little bit over time. We think he is the crazy one. Our new sound is 10 times as heavier as ever with Gore Goblin! We are never selling out! You can hear the new anthem 'Santanicus Maximus' right here to see for yourself. We formed overseas and came to United States to play Post-Metal (i.e. Noisecore/Avant-Grind) with lyrics sung in many languages of Men (e.g. Swedish, English, Latin) and Orcs (e.g. dialects of Black Tongue from Cirith Ungol and Minas Morgul). Influenced by almost all styles of Heavy Music - primarily Black Metal, Proto-Black/Death, Hardcore Punk. With lyrics influenced by powerful fantastical imagery ranging from battles with Ogres to reversed abortion procedures. Style - Noisecore - combining Grind, Sludge, and Punk Thrash into it's extremest!!! We've been described in various European Underground Music Mags as: 'murky avant-grind', 'crusty speed-doom', 'sludgey punk metal pandemonium', 'noisy pseudo-gore', 'midpaced powergrind', 'quasi-industrial Corecore', 'grungey pukemetal', 'insanidelic rock', 'lo-fi garage metal for D&D nerds,' and less flatteringly as: 'obnoxious hardcore bullshit', 'an excercise in retardation', and 'an Anal Cunt with even less talent (if that is possible)'
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
In 2001-2002 we record a 33 track EP called 'Poisonous Orphanage.' In 2003 we finish up a mini-EP called 'Church of Latter Day Anti-Christs.' In 2004, Gorbag leaves band and we work on our newest album 'Metalented.'
