I'm a soloist as far as the music on here is concerned - although I do play with other people - mostly in duos at the moment,with Maggie Boyle,and Brian Peters
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Untroubled by fame and worldly success I have nevertheless been a professional musician since 1979 - 25 years now.I started out with a band called Iona,then another called Dab Hand,followed mainly by solo work.The more experienced I become,the more I love music.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I play live regularly,touring mainly the uk,but also abroad occasionally.

Nic Jones,Martin Carthy, and traditional singers and musicians like Harry Cox and Joseph Taylor
What equipment do you use?
acoustic and electric guitars,wooden flute,whistles,Propellerhead Reason,n-track studio
Anything else?
As time goes on I'm learning to appreciate more varied forms of music
