Hi Gordon
I am already a huge fan of your work having heard you live several times. But it is great to have access to some of the tracks not yet out on CD. Like all the very best artists, you go on experimenting and evolving all the time. Your latest album testifies this. Your voice is exquisite and haunting, the flute, guitar and synth are all used sensitively to enhance the songs and your own compositions are particularly profound. Thank you.

Hi Gordon,
First, I'd like to thank you for taking the time to review my group. It was our first review here and a very pleasant suprise. Enough about us though, your music is fantastic. I was blown away by the beauty and sensitivity or your guitar-work, vocals, and overall sense of melody. I felt like I connected with it instantly. Just fantastic work. I'll be back here regularly. Thanks again.

I am going to add to my previous comment - "Lovely on the water" is now my favourite song on soundclick, period (after about 20 listens) - The guitar playing sounds great and has a pure sound, the singing is honest and deep, and the haunting whistle is absolutely perfect in the way it wanders around in the background. I have heard this song before in a few folk clubs when I lived in England, but your rendition of it has given it life - I never even thought that much of the song before hearing your version- thats the truth.
So all in all, credit where it is due, you have created a real gem - I will be sure to listen to the rest of your songs in hopes of finding more of the same!!

Great stuff - I see the Martin Carthy but you have a much better voice - All in all a great sound.
I consider myself something of a hardcore folky, and your music definately hits the spot - very emotional sound
thanks for posting them!!

What an interesting Celtic voice! Love "Itchy Fingers" and "Sine Bhan" especially. (I'm a fellow Celtic artist, do more rock type stuff.)
More! More!

Hi Gordon,
Very nice and I wish every success. The difference deserves to work and the flute playing I always find haunting, beautiful.

Hi there
Thanks for making music in a world of trouble and lies. Liked perfection, you remind me of alan taylor or mike silver. Take laisten to some of my stuff please, I gave up singing in bands many years ago and I am now getting back in to it. Do ya get to scotland?
