Gord Lang
I am the proud father of two adult children. I have been playing the guitar for various church bands for over 25 years. All of these songs are original and reflect a preference to Christian music with a country rhythm.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I began writing songs as a teenager. Over the years my efforts progressed to a point where I was ready to record my first album of 13 songs. That was 2001. Since then I have written over 40 songs and have recorded 5 albums. All of my songs reflect my Christian heritage and I take no personal credit for my talents. My experience can be summed up in the words of an old Bill Anderson tune "... I held the pen, but He wrote the song - for I can do nothing alone."
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I play at senior's homes, churches, and more recently at a Winnipeg coffee house - Sam's Place on Henderson Highway.
