Gone Troppo
Australian collective "Gone Troppo" comprises a loose group of home-studio experimental artists who write and produce original melodies and cast them into the computer music melting pot.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
We're 'part-time' artists who hold down regular daytime jobs. We work as a collective ... each chipping in with their particular expertise, whether it be songwriting, performing, recording, producing, graphic design, promotion, etc.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Not at the moment, but it could be done.
Your musical influences
One of us (the eldest) says: The Beatles, Van Morrison, The Shadows, Mike Oldfield, The Fureys, Neil Young. Another says: The Smiths. And yet another says: The Clash. But strangely, we don't sound like any of these artists!@#$%
What equipment do you use?
One of us uses Sonar Producer Studio software; another Logic

We still think music can change the world for the better, despite John having written Give Peace A Chance a long time ago now ...
