Going Some Place
Going Some Place is a project that is amorphous in size/content but rather defined in terms of musical abilities & perspctvs. Emphasis is on every aspect of the song- melody, chords, lyrics & arrngm't & no tune is ever a "filler". A truly eclectic blend of musical styles is what will always define the basic structure of GSP no matter how the project changes in terms of size & persnl. If you are 35+ you are likely listening to albums from your earlier years because radio is a swamp of noise that you have to pick through. This is due to record companies having pretty much given us all up for dead; bad record companies! GSP is not music for those waiting for their allowance or first sexual exprnc.., unless they'd like to share either of those w/ us. This is new music wrtt'n/perfm'd by people who have lived, learned, travl'd and expernc'd life; we are like you - but cuter. Our new album, Dreams That Rhyme is out & chock full of righteous tunage!
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Mark (sngwrtr/guit/vox) orig from the east coast, ate all of his vegetables & washed behind his ideas.
Bill (prdcr/vox/bass/kybd)orig from the west coast, put away all of his toys before nightnight & helped little old ladies cross parallel dimensions
Amy (lead vox)orig from the west coast, always helped mommy w/ the chores & learned her abc's sideways
Vinnie (drums)orig from the west coast, played nice w/ others & shared his cosmic lunch
