wow Gary! Sounds like America meets Brian Wilson-another soulful, heart tugging song. Great job.

Is it true that you have left music and are now a Manager in a widget factory? Are you now or have you ever been the Surf KiNG? Do you plan on un-retiring to make your Bossa Nova CD? Very mysterious.

Murry Ng has completely forgotten his bandmates...
J/k, you are sounding great tonight, Gary. Just FYI, I have played your CD dozens of times and of course there are no SoundClick stats for that..
I LOVE Highway 101!

GNG MUSIC UPDATE
Sting Ray Bike has been a huge hit, thanks to you listeners and fans. Thanks a bunch! Who would have guessed that a song about a 1965 bike would be so popular?
I'm currently working on a studio version of My Prayer, a nice little vocal piece that I wrote a few months ago before I had to go into the dreaded surgery (everything is cool and I'm healthy, no worries). I'm also working on finishing Girl, a great song that needs more verses. Most likely both songs will show up the FiBERGLASS CD. In case you didn't know, FiBERGLASS is the group of guys I record with via the net. We've never met, but we share the same love for Brian Wilson music and have done some cool collaborations, including Summer's Calling. Tony Hearn plays the organ solo on Sting Ray as well.
The new CD should be out soon. The song line up is probably -
My Prayer
Summer's Calling
How Are Ya?
Santa Ana Winds
Sting Ray Bike
Mom and Pop Grocery Store

Salut Gary,
It's especially the image who bring me memories because here, we called it CCM Mustang for trail, I didn't know it under "Sting-Ray"... I has a green one like on your image and I loved it.
Glad for you and your family that you have can refind your house intact. You're lucky, these big fires with the wind were very dangerous!

Hi Gary....
My rig on "Surfers Lament" was a Danelectro Inuendo, which looks like a Mosrite. It gets a great clean vintage sound. I used an Amp simulator made by Roland on that recording and recorded direct.
I use many guitars, but my main guitar these days is one made for me by a company called "Brazen Guitars" out of Calif. They're a new company that I'm endorsing. Check them out at www.brazenguitars.com
Thanks for the nice comments too!

I just posted a new demo I am working on called Sting Ray Bike. Take a listen and let me know what you think, but remember, it's a demo so there are plenty of wrong notes and poor production values as it's just a rough sketch. Enjoy!

Thanks for the great feedback! I am doing various mixes of Mom and Pop, which incidentally just went #1 on the Beach charts and #32 on the total POP charts, which is fantastic!
