Twickenham Downs Twickenham Downs

Soothing, intense and complex all at once. Fat acoustic guitar, sweet slide, twin leads and a soft landing. Enjoy!

Gravel Harvest Gravel Harvest

Hot guitar rock instrumental with sinewy slide, a splash of surf and soaring wah-drenched rock guitar. A must hear!!

Instrumental Rock

I'm a 50-year old guitarist, songwriter and composer of various instrumental things. I also sing with my cover band, Rhythm Rock-It. I play acoustic and electric - lead, slide and rhythm. Blues, rock, pop, country, folk, bluegrass styles, and a mixture thereof. My 15-year-old son plays bass with me. He's only been playing about 4 years and he's amazingly good.
Band/artist history
Just your basic weekend warrior for almost 30 years. I just want to share my music and solicit a few honest opinions, good or bad. Of course, if the right opportunity presented itself... Last year I sent a demo to the manager for the Michelle Branch and Natalie Merchant tour. No word yet...they probably didn't even listen.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Working on playing out live in the Central Oregon area. Rearranged my schedule to allow more time for music.
Your musical influences
Blues, blues/rock, surf, country, or anything guitar driven, electric or acoustic. Specifically: The Who, Eric Clapton, Rory Gallagher, Joe Walsh, Beatles, Leo Kottke, Roy Nichols (Merle Haggard's former guitarist), Jackson Browne.
What equipment do you use?
I play a Takamine acoustic and Takamine acoustic/electric, Fender Strat and Samick SG. Entry level recording gear (not a computer).
Anything else?
Now that I'm officially a geezer (age 50), I figured I'd give music a little more time, attention and energy, since it is what really drives me as a person and creative being. Always did and always will.
