~ES~gliba, Thanks for the invitation to listen. I would say you are on to a good start. For me, anything that resembles a Pink Floyd feel or has that Shine On vibe is a good thing. Your backing arrangement has a nice melody and I do like how you introduced the drums into the mix. Keep them coming. That out of key thing i noticed when the song was already exported. This was just an improvisation to the backing track that I didn't learned well (actually just listened to it 2 times). I'm new at recording and all that stuff, so I didn't actually put much effort in this one. Listening the stuff from this page, and seeing how people do their songs i learned that I should put more effort to the songs, and not just record from a first try and leave it that way...
Thanks for comment
cheersBoy, I have some old tapes that sound a whole lot like this song. It was almost like hearing myself all over again.
I liked where you were going with this song. Although there are a few places where you stray outside of the key that did not work for me.
I think the ending needs a redo. Although a fade out is not a great ending, you may want to try a fade because the current ending is not sure what it is supposed to do and sort of meanders a bit.
Take a listen to Brian (see url below). It may give you some ideas!
Let me know when you get more songs recorded!
Cheers,
Higher
