Hi everyone - thank you for checking out the GLASSVALVE site.
We play all sorts of music - our favourite colour is midnight blue and we like to play golf and strangle small wild animals in our spare time (but not dolphins).
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
1066 Battle of Hastings
1939 - 1945 WW2
2005 - car failed M.O.T.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Prefer to play live - but also prefer an audience to be alive also. Have played to people whose responses some may consider dead, in the past - but lets not go into that...
Your musical influences
The Killers, Al Jolson, The Kooks & Scissor Sisters. Some people think GlassValve sounds like Phil Collins - but that's just the sort of thing that people would say...
What equipment do you use?
a piece of string and a rubber band (in the key of F sharp minor)
Anything else?
We used the usual Equalization, Compression, Noise Gates, Delay and Reverberation where necessary.
