Bands: sneaker pimps, garbage, jeff buckley, radiohead, smashing pumkins, tori amos, fiona apple, tricky, the crainium, old dirty bastard ;-), club 8, bjork, ladytron, sonic youth, pixies, mogwai, nirvana, thats's the most that i can think of for now.What equipment do you use?
i think all the songs on here at the moment are just my voice and a epiphone acoustic guitar recorded into either a mini-disc player thru a headset mic or recorded into acid software using a radio shack mic.Anything else?
well since they dont give enough space in the equipment section I'll continue it here...
for now i use peavey amps and a RAT distortion pedal. i've used alotta other equipment in the past but none of them were on the recordings on this site. I plan to get a shure sm57 and 58, an esi32 sampler, a qy20, a yamaha tx81z, a small yamaha midi drumset, a Roland mc-09 (some of you might know its secret ;) ), as you can see I'm going very low budget for aesthetic reasons, I'm gonna see just how much can be done with a bunch of old school cheap ass gear. and lemme tell you...I'm thinkin LOTS. of course certain "high end" expenditures will be neccassary in the end, i plan on getting some kinda anolg-ish synth. maybe an EMX-1 groove box and/or a quasimidi sirius. I'm also gonna get an sp505 sampler most likely.All comments (1)
