Hydro set about establishing himself within the local scenes within the south Bronx and Harlem. This included recording with other artists, performing at live venues and free-styling on local DJ's street mixtapes.
In his three years in New York Hydro was greatly influenced by his surrounding which is clearly evident in his appropriately titled classic double album 'Hustle 2 Hustle/Livin Proof'. Along with two classic albums on the streets throughout the United Kingdom previously 'Survival of the Fittest' and 'Underdogg Army'.
This created his buzz in his home town of Glasgow where he was born and bred, the quality of his music went from strength to strength, he offers an advance take on rap music in terms of maturity, song concepts, genius lyrics and an outstanding delivery of a creative flow.
Hydro has been working constantly over the past few years through his self owned record label Underdogg Entertainment. In terms of writing, recording, promoting, manufacture, distribution, marketing and performing at venues all over Scotland, UK and USA.
Hydro's achievements include second place at the MOBO unsung, number one with BBC music online, radio airplay on Radio 1, Beat 106, Galaxy 102/103 etc.
With the music videos for his first 3 main stream singles "Eh Yo, Undisputed, and Be proud.." complete and with record and distribution discussions at an advance stage, this phenomenon is at the boiling point of his career.Have you performed in front of an audience?Played the carling accademy in Glasgow last year, and that was fantastic.
