The Glam Fakir is fronted by singer-songwriter and guitarist George Olsen who works with different musicians recording and playing live.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Glam Fakir came into existence in 2003 as a persona because of the camp rock tracks which we'd mainly been recording..
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We currently play in and around Glasgow but all of the musicians have played in other line-ups in the past.

early 70's Bolan and Bowie and Lou Reed tinged with Sensational Alex Harvey (a local hero)and the Clash
