sometimes happy, mostly sad. I favour a finger picking style but having said that quite a few aren't! To say something that might mean something to someone i've never met. I guess I hope that one day I might actually be able to describe my music without feeling crippled by self consciousness.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Have recently started playing more frequently in Leeds, open mic nights at Carpe Diem and Dr Wu's in addition to support slots. Currently recording my first album and writing songs for the next.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes, primarily in Leeds. Its always special (a miracle) getting to the end without making a fool of myself.
Your musical influences
willy mason, ryan adams, jeff buckley, the sleepy jackson, john martyn, matthew ryan, jeff klein, nick drake, mr wainwright and his children, leonard cohen, the National, beth orton, johnny cash, the amazing chrissie hynde, John Turner and my brother. Having said that i'm an indie chick at heart. I probably sound like none of them.
