Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
One that is called "Gifted" is a person that possesses great natural ability.Born on the Westbank of New Orleans in the Kennedy Heights neighborhood.Coming up in New Orleans is an automatic challenge but it's even more difficult being raised by a single mother (Ms. Lynette Wallace).Gifted started approaching the stage at the tender age of 8yrs. old.From dancing to rapping Gifted has won many trophies and featured in many talents shows & major events such as Q93's annual concert "Teen Summit" wich features a host of local and international artist.At the age of 15 Gifted secured a deal with the hottest label in N.O at that time "Take Fo' Records".From Take Fo Gifted went on to "Smoke 1 Records" the 1st label to do a joint venture with "No-Limit Records" headed by Master P.One night Gifted was envolved in an altercation where guns were pulled & bullets began to erupt.Gifted jumped in front a bullet that was headed for his older brother(Gregory Williams) & was struck in the face.This being his 7th brush with death Gifted felt some things had to change.Gifted's brother Manuel Mukes (CEO of Bound4Glory Records) invited him to church.From those steps God began to slowly transform Gifted into a new person.Gifted is now on a mission to breath life into HipHop.With God's word in his heart and Gifted's way with words something special is about to happen."It's such a beautiful situation".
