Thought i had left a comment on this. Wonderful work on this Geo...fine playing and a tone that is like nothing else on Earth. You certainly created an incredible soundtrack/soundscape here. I think you could make a one string uke sound good...

Minimalist magic. Really captures the pain, sadness, and tragedy of all those poor folks who die at he hand of the self righteous. Great patient delivery of notes on that ol' National whose tone brings it all home.

Song: Pennsyltucky Polka
Love the old time feel here and that bass line you weave into this musical tapestry. The changes are beautiful and some of the chords just a delight to the ears. The tone of the National is so unique. Fine post Geo.

Song: Settle Down
What a cool, funky, jazzy, bluesy groove. Full of delicious chords and twists and turns. It's like an evolution of the Snap Blues. Creativity and talent shines! Good one Geo!

Song: Regal Snap Blues
Cool guitar tone and a VERY funky bluesy lick that sticks in my head. Good change ups and overall a fun ride. A nice acoustic tune that could be easily expanded into the electric realm. Dig that outro!!

Song: Wait for Me fade ending
Fine tune Geo. Good lyrics delivered in one of your best vocal performances. The song takes the listener right along the road with you and the chorus has major anthem qualities. Full of soulful emotion. Good tune!

Down home cookin'! can't beat it! Love the soul in this...from the cool tones, fine playing, and that "touch" that is your trademark. Gabe's harp is some sweet sweet frosting on this blues cake. Sometimes this stuff can be nothing short of salvation from the stress of life in this crazy world. Loved it!

Song: The Dutchman
Quite a song indeed. About as far from pop schlock as music can go. Incredibly well played and sung with the sensitivity that the emotional and image laden lyrics demand. Hard to comment on a song that goes beyond words. Great post Geo.
