G.E.N.T.I.L.E. is a Christian hiphopper from IL. putting it down for the cause of Christ, not fame or recognition.Presenting Christ to a culture that is blinded by money,cars,girls,fashion and jewelry.He prays that God would open the hearts of those of the culture so that they may know him(Christ) and commit their lives to serving him.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Before Christ I was doing thug rap with a bunch of homies I grew up with in the hood of Edgemont,IL.When I came to Christ I gave up rap for a while but I still had a strong passion for the music.So when I heard some Christian mceez on CD I totally flipped out and God has continued to inspire me with his message of the gospel spitting it through hip hop music.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I've had the opportunity to minister at various churches in East St.Louis and a couple of spots out of town thank God.I'm focusing on where I live right now.
Your musical influences
Crossmovement and everyone affilliated with the label has been a big influence to my life and many more Christian hip hop artist.
What equipment do you use?
you'd probably trip if I told you but for right now it's working thank God.

I just hope people would listen closely to the message and not the messenger, feel me? And let The Gospel of Christ transform their lives.
